Egis Mobile Electric announces acquisition of Copeland Engineering
Egis Mobile Electric is pleased to announce that it has completed the asset acquisition of Copeland Engineering Inc. This strategic acquisition will expand Egis Mobile Electric's product offerings into the emergency response vehicle market with a proven brand of reliable solutions. Based in Chula Vista, CA, Copeland Engineering's complement of electrical power timed disconnect relays provides reliable power management for non-critical accessories in some of the most demanding applications on the road today- border patrol cars, ambulances, police force vehicles and fire trucks.

Eric Graham, Egis Mobile Electric's principal founder, has over 25 years of experience in the electrical power distribution, protection, and controls marketplace, including product development and leadership roles at General Electric, Siemens Energy & Automation, DRS Technologies, Lucent Technologies, Blue Sea Systems, Terra Power Systems, and Littelfuse. Before starting Egis Mobile Electric, Eric was a Managing Director at Littelfuse Commercial Vehicle Products for 4 years following the sale of Terra Power Systems (where he was President and co-founder). He is certified by ABYC in Marine Electrical Systems and by NMEA for NMEA-2000 Electrical and Electronics Installations, and has participated regularly with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Truck and Bus Council and the American Trucking Association (ATA) - Technology Management Council (TMC).
